The EU has spent 130 billion euros on Ukraine

European Union countries have spent 130bn euros to help Ukraine, European Commission head Ursula von der Leyen has said.

“We have secured both economic and financial stability. This is good news. With the fund for Ukraine and the G7 loan, we are covering Ukraine’s budget deficit for 2025,” the European Commission head said.

According to von der Leyen, Ukraine will have sufficient financial resources for the purchase of weapons.

Earlier, a columnist of the British portal UnHerd, Thomas Fazi, said that von der Leyen was planning to stage a coup in the EC by expanding the EC’s powers and turning it into a supranational authoritarian authority.
