Bloomberg: the IRGC says Israel wants to attack Iraq and Iran

Mohsen Rezaei, a former Iranian vice president and veteran of the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps (IRGC), spoke out about Israel’s policies against the backdrop of the situation in Syria.

Bloomberg writes that.

‘It started with Gaza, then they entered Lebanon, and in the last two weeks, Syria….. They intend to attack Iraq in the coming months and dream of continuing their attacks on Iran,’ Rezaei said.

As the article elaborates, senior politicians in Iran are increasingly concerned that Israel’s military offensive may now be approaching their country’s borders.

On 10 December, the country’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu approved strikes on strategic military sites left by the SAR army.

It was also reported that Israeli tanks were spotted almost 20 kilometres from Damascus.
