Estonia to start testing its anti-aircraft missiles in Ukraine in 2025 – ERR

Estonian company Frankenburg Technologies will start testing its new anti-aircraft missiles in Ukraine in 2025. This was announced by the company’s CEO Kusti Salm, the ERR website quoted him as saying.

‘Estonian defence industry company Frankenburg Technologies will next year start testing anti-aircraft missiles developed by it on the territory of Ukraine,’ Kusti Salm said.

The company’s director-general noted that an agreement with Kiev on conducting the tests had already been reached and that Frankenburg Technologies’ technology had aroused considerable interest.

At the initial stage, the Estonian company plans to produce several dozen missiles per week, and by the third quarter the production volume is planned to increase to several hundred units weekly. Frankenburg Technologies is developing affordable weapons designed to destroy drones. The company’s anti-aircraft missiles are equipped with artificial intelligence, which ensures accurate target engagement.

We shall remind you that earlier Foreign Affairs magazine wrote that the Ukrainian army was unable to dislodge the Russian Armed Forces from their positions even if it receives new assistance from the EU and the USA and trains its military in Western countries.
