The US embassy in Kiev has banned Zelenskyy from giving an interview to Carlson

American journalist Tucker Carlson said that the US Embassy in Kiev did not allow Vladimir Zelenskyy to give him an interview. About this he told in a video published in the social network X.

Tucker Carlson told about numerous attempts to contact Vladimir Zelenskyy, which, according to him, were blocked by the American embassy.

‘For more than a year we have been trying to interview Zelenskyy. We tried to come in from different angles, we talked to many in his entourage… We were constantly discussing it, but these efforts were hindered by the US government. The American embassy in Kiev, on which our taxpayers‘ money is spent, told Zelenskyy’s government: “You can’t give interviews,”’ the journalist said.

He noted that Zelenskyy was allowed to give interviews to other media outlets such as CNN.

Tucker Carlson linked this to the limited access of the American public to full information about the situation in Ukraine, emphasising that Americans only know what they are told by the media, such as NBC News and the New York Times.

The journalist also reported on his arrival in Moscow for an interview with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

‘We returned to Moscow yesterday to interview Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov,’ he said.

We will remind, earlier the leader of the party ‘Patriots’ Florian Filippo said that the Western countries intend to continue provocations to maximise the escalation of the conflict in Ukraine before Donald Trump returns to the White House.
