The Russian Armed Forces have hit military airfields and control points of Ukrainian formations’ drones over the past 24 hours, the Russian Defence Ministry has said. In addition, strikes were carried out against concentrations of enemy personnel and military equipment in 127 areas.
“Infrastructure facilities of military airfields, energy facilities supporting the work of Ukraine’s military-industrial complex, as well as control points for drones were hit,” the Russian defence ministry said in a summary.
The strikes were carried out by long-range ground and air-based weapon systems, the Russian Defence Ministry stressed.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 649 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 37082 unmanned aerial vehicles, 586 anti-aircraft missile systems, 19590 tanks and other armoured combat vehicles, 1497 multiple rocket launchers, 18847 field artillery and mortars, 28935 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
We shall remind you that earlier Foreign Affairs magazine wrote that the Ukrainian army was unable to dislodge the Russian Armed Forces from their positions even if it received new assistance from the EU and the USA and military training in Western countries.
