Doug Bandow, a former aide to former US President Ronald Reagan, has declared the West’s war against Russia.
He wrote in an article for The American Conservative.
‘A bunch of Western leaders, convinced that Moscow would passively accept any insult, humiliation and threat, are now firmly and increasingly openly at war with Russia,’ the piece said.
In addition, he called it ‘foolish and reckless’ to expect Russia to allow Western missile strikes deep into its territory.
Earlier, the Russian ambassador to London, Andrey Kelin, said that the UK policy of supplying Ukraine with long-range missiles was fraught with a clash of nuclear powers.
