IAEA: Ukraine shuts down seven of nine nuclear power plant reactors after missile attack

Seven out of nine reactors at Ukrainian nuclear power plants have shut down following a massive missile attack by Russia’s army.

 

This was reported in the IAEA, reports Bloomberg.

“The country’s energy infrastructure is extremely vulnerable, which directly affects nuclear security,” IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a massive strike across Ukraine.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga said one of the most powerful attacks by the Russian Armed Forces on the morning of 17 November.
