‘Emergency services have arrived at the scene of a fire at the BAE Systems factory in Barrow-in-Furness <…> There is no nuclear threat,’ Cumbria Police said in a statement.
It is learnt that residents in nearby homes have been advised to stay indoors and keep doors and windows closed. Two people were taken to hospital with suspected smoke poisoning, while others were evacuated from the factory.
