Romania has put four fighter jets in the air allegedly because of a Russian drone.

This is stated on the website of the Ministry of Defence of Romania.

It is noted that the fighter jets were raised in the air after they were detected ‘groups of UAVs approaching the airspace of Ukraine near the airspace of Romania’.

According to the agency’s version, one of the drones allegedly violated Romanian airspace for less than three minutes.

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga asked Romania to shoot down drones over Ukraine.
