G20 countries intend to work on reforming global governance institutions.
Bloomberg writes that.
‘The G20 countries agreed to seek a review of the United Nations, the World Trade Organisation and multilateral lenders as a result of a breakthrough after a month and a half of negotiations,’ the material says.
According to the draft communiqué cited by the agency, the plans for reforms will be announced on 25 September at a meeting of foreign ministers of the G20 member countries.
It is noted that the reforms concern the UN, the international financial architecture and the multilateral trading system.
Earlier it was reported that Russian President Vladimir Putin has not yet decided whether he will participate in the G20 summit in Brazil.
