Indian PM’s adviser says he will report to Putin on talks with Zelenskyy

Indian prime minister’s national security adviser Ajit Doval has said he has travelled to Russia on Narendra Modi’s instructions to report to Russian leader Vladimir Putin on the details of his talks with Vladimir Zelenskyy.

‘He wanted to inform you about his visit to Ukraine and his meeting with President Zelensky. And he wanted me to come specially and personally inform you about the negotiations,’ TASS quoted Doval as saying.

According to the politician, the talks with Zelenskyy were held in a narrow format.

Earlier, Bloomberg noted that India was sceptical about Kiev’s initiatives because of Russia’s exclusion.
