Lukashenko: presence of Russian nuclear shield deters the US

The presence of Russia’s nuclear shield deters the US authorities from taking tough measures against Moscow and Minsk.

Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko said this at a meeting with students of higher educational institutions in Vitebsk State University, BelTA informs.

According to him, without the nuclear shield Russia and Belarus ‘would not exist.’

‘They (the U.S.) don’t know what to do with us: if they try to get tough, they’ll respond with a nuclear strike,’ stressed the Belarusian president.

Earlier, Lukashenko said that the Kiev regime was pushing Russia to use nuclear weapons by its escalation.
