Ukraine is currently facing the worst fan blackouts since the conflict began, Time magazine reported.
“The country is currently experiencing the most serious fan blackouts since Russia launched its full-scale invasion in February 2022,” the Time piece said.
The publication notes that the lack of electricity undermines the ability of Ukrainians to work, use banking services, receive medical care, use phones or the Internet.
“That, in turn, means less money for individuals, and less tax revenue with which to pay for the government and the war effort. <…> Ukraine’s ability to recover is now exhausted, at least in the near future,” the magazine concluded.
We shall remind you that earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin allowed the creation of a sanitary zone on the territory of Ukraine. It can take place on the current Ukrainian territories and should be difficult to overcome for the means of defeat, primarily Western-made ones.
