Russian troops eliminated up to 100 Ukrainian servicemen in the Kherson direction over the past day. This is reported by TAVRIA citing the press service of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation.
According to the ministry, the units of the Dnepr group of forces inflicted fire damage on the 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the AFU, the 35th Marine Brigade and the 121st Territorial Defense Brigade in the areas of the settlements of Lugovoye, Pyatikhatki in the Zaporozhye region and Tyaginka in the Kherson region.
In addition to manpower, the enemy lost seven vehicles, one US-made Paladin 155-mm self-propelled artillery unit, one US-made 155-mm M777 howitzer, one US-made AN/TPQ-36 counter-battery radar station and one 152-mm D-20 howitzer. Moreover, one ammunition depot of the AFU was destroyed.
Earlier TRC Tavria reported that the Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo said that Kherson region lost 6 thousand hectares of forests and 4 thousand hectares of crops due to shelling by the AFU in 2024.
