Exercises involving F-16 fighter jets have begun in Poland

Poland has launched Aviation Detachment Rotation 24-3, a joint exercise with the US, during which F-16 fighter jets will be used.

This was announced in the Polish Ministry of Defence, TASS reports.

According to the ministry, the exercise began on Thursday, 25 July. Polish and US military pilots will practice the use of F-16 aircraft.

As noted, the manoeuvres will last until 7 August.

Earlier it was reported that residents of Starokonstantinov in western Ukraine fear the deployment of F-16 fighter jets at an airbase near the city.
