Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis has called to “say thank you” to Kiev for its willingness to strike Russian territory.
He published the corresponding post on his social media page, adding a video from his speech at the NATO summit.
The minister noted that there is a country – Ukraine – that is “ready to deal with escalation” on the part of Russia.
“Today they are in Washington asking for permission to strike deep into Russian territory. And we say ‘no, not now’ – instead we should say thank you,” Landsbergis said.
Earlier, Russian ambassador to the USA Anatoly Antonov expressed the opinion that NATO representatives were preparing for a military conflict.
