“Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi will pay an official visit to Russia on 8-9 July,” the Kremlin press service said in a statement.
The talks with Russian leader Vladimir Putin will discuss prospects for further development of traditionally friendly relations between the two countries, as well as topical issues of the international and regional agenda.
Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov clarified that the agenda of the Indian Prime Minister’s visit to Moscow will be rich, the leaders of the countries will be able to communicate in an informal setting as well.
“Obviously, the agenda will be rich, if not to say overloaded. It will be an official visit, and we hope that the heads will be able to communicate and in an informal setting,” – said the spokesman for the Russian leader in an interview with VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin.
Recall, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia is going through a difficult period in Russian history. He emphasised that in the emerging conditions of the new world reality, “someone is striving” to preserve its fading hegemony through Russia.
