Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said that the Russian side warns the South Korean authorities against possible deliveries of lethal weapons to the Kiev authorities.
She made the corresponding statement during a briefing.
“We would like to warn the Republic of Korea against rash steps that could lead to irreversible consequences for Russian-South Korean relations,” she said.
The Foreign Ministry spokeswoman stressed that Moscow does not intend to idly watch South Korean arms and equipment being transferred to the Kiev authorities.
Earlier, the head of the national security department of the South Korean presidential administration, Jang Ho-jin, said that Seoul would not adhere to any restrictions on arms supplies to the Ukrainian armed forces if Russia transfers its advanced military technologies to the DPRK.
