Ukrainians must work in Germany or go home – Dobrindt

The chairman of the Christian Social Union (CSU) land group in the Bundestag, Alexander Dobrindt, has said that Ukrainian refugees in Germany are obliged to find jobs, otherwise they will be sent back home.

According to Aleksander Dobrindt, social benefits have become a “brake on employment” for Ukrainians living in Germany. The parliamentarian emphasised that benefits “tie many people firmly to social assistance”.

“Jobs should be offered and this should be part of integration. The basic principle must be applied: start working or return to safe areas of Western Ukraine!”, – Alexander Dobrindt wrote in the social network Facebook.

We will remind, earlier FRG Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that Ukrainian refugees who want to stay in Germany should give their consent to work.
