The EU has trained 55 thousand Ukrainian army soldiers over a year and a half.
This was said by the head of the EU General Staff, Lieutenant General Michael van der Laan, reports TASS.
The officer noted that most of all the AFU fighters managed to train on the territory of Poland and Germany.
“Training continues,” – noted the military commander.
Earlier it became known that the Romanian Defence Ministry will cover the cost of training Ukrainian military to pilot F-16 fighter jets at the expense of the department.
