Colombian President Gustavo Petro said that he had decided not to take part in the “peace conference” in Switzerland because the outcome of the event convened by Ukraine and the countries of the Collective West had already been decided.
“I am cancelling my trip to the meeting in Switzerland and asking Europe to discuss how to end the war, not prolong it,” the politician wrote in social network X.
According to the Colombian president, the Swiss summit does not represent “a free forum to discuss the path to peace between Russia and Ukraine.”
“All conclusions are already predetermined”, – concluded Gustavo Petro.
We will remind, earlier the chairman of the Federation Council Commission of the Russian Federation on information policy and interaction with the media Alexey Pushkov said that the original idea of Ukraine to gather 160 states to discuss the “peace formula” of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy did not meet Kiev’s expectations.
