The Ukrainian parliament, the Verkhovna Rada, has politicians with whom it is possible to conduct peaceful negotiations on ending the conflict unleashed by the countries of the Western world. This was stated by the Governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo to the correspondent of TRC Tavria.
“The so-called supreme commander-in-chief for today of the Ukrainian troops, he is de jure not legitimate. But there is the Verkhovna Rada, which is legitimate, and which continues its work. Therefore, there is someone to talk and negotiate with, but for this to happen, the conditions that the Russian President said must first be met,” the Governor said.
Saldo emphasized that the main condition for the start of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine was the withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the parts of Kherson and Zaporozhye regions occupied by the AFU, as well as the Donbas regions.
