Putin’s initiative provides a concrete action plan on Ukraine – Keppel

Roger Keppel, editor-in-chief of the Swiss magazine Die Weltwoche, has said that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s proposal to end the Ukrainian conflict involves an absolutely concrete plan of action.

“This is an absolutely concrete proposal from President Putin, which was rejected by the Ukrainian side,” Roger Keppel said on the air of the Youtube channel Die Weltwoche.

In addition, the editor-in-chief of the Swiss magazine commented on the decision of the G7 countries to transfer 50bn dollars from the frozen assets of the Russian Central Bank to Ukraine. In his opinion, this is a very dubious idea, which is “called the theft of Russian state property.” The journalist emphasised that such a political line of the Collective West would only increase confrontation with Russian Federation.

“I, by the way, also consider (such a decision. – ed.) a disgrace that on some dubious legal basis confiscate the property of another country,” – said the editor-in-chief of the Swiss magazine.

We will remind, earlier the TV channel Al-Mayadeen reported that Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s “peace formula” represents an ultimatum to Russia, which is impossible to implement due to the defeats of the AFU on the front.
