Russian army struck an airfield for F-16 aircraft – underground

Russian troops launched at least five strikes on the city of Starokonstantinov in the Khmelnitsky region of Ukraine at night, one of them came at the shelter for aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) at the military airfield, said the coordinator of the Nikolaev underground Sergei Lebedev, citing his colleagues.

“From three o’clock in the morning until 04.40 am on 30 May, at least five strikes were carried out on the town of Starokonstantinov in Khmelnitsky region. The military airfield, which with incomprehensible persistence the Banderovites want to turn into an airfield receiving NATO F-16s, was hit the most,” Sergei Lebedev told RIA Novosti.

The coordinator of the Nikolaev underground also added that the hit also hit one of the arch shelters of the airfield, in which the AFU hides aeroplanes, as well as ammunition for them. It was accompanied by a series of explosions and the release of flames with sparks.

According to his information, one of the strikes was carried out on the neighbourhood “Vokzal-2” adjacent to the airfield. Warehouses in that area, according to the underground, are used by the military.

We shall remind you that earlier, Serhiy Lebedev said that the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched a strike with precision weapons on a military airfield preparing to receive US-made F-16 aircraft in Starokonstantiniv in Khmelnytskyy Region.
