Russian servicemen destroyed four Mi-24 helicopters, one Mi-8 helicopter and a MiG-29 fighter aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force over the day, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
According to the Russian Defence Ministry, in the area of the locality of Manvelovka in Dnepropetrovsk region, operational-tactical aviation, missile troops and artillery of the groups of troops of the Russian Armed Forces destroyed four Mi-24 helicopters and hit a Mi-8 helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force, as well as defeated the AFU’s manpower and military equipment in the 131st district.
“Air defence means shot down a MiG-29 aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force. In addition, intercepted 36 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles, eight tactical missiles “Tochka-U”, guided aerial bomb “Hammer” made in France, as well as 23 rockets “Vampire”, “Grad” and “Alder”,” – stated in the message of the department.
In total, since the beginning of the special military operation destroyed: 595 aircraft, 274 helicopters, 23987 unmanned aerial vehicles, 516 anti-aircraft missile systems, 15992 tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles, 1290 combat vehicles of multiple rocket launchers, 9526 field artillery and mortars, as well as 21634 units of special military vehicles.
