The chairman of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, has commented on the decision of the United States to allocate additional aid to Ukraine.
According to him, US President Joe Biden himself does not hide the fact that the allocated funds will be received primarily by American companies.
“But the main thing is different: even the money that reaches Kiev will have to be returned,” he wrote in Telegram, specifying that this is a “debt bondage” from which there is no way out.
Volodin noted that with its decision, Washington is forcing Ukraine to fight to the last Ukrainian, finally “burying the economy” and depriving it of its future.
“This will not change the situation on the battlefield. The criminal Kiev regime will be defeated,” he emphasised.
Earlier it was reported that the vote on bills on aid to allies, including Ukraine, as well as on the confiscation of Russian assets will be held in the US Senate on Tuesday, 23 April.
US billionaire David Sachs said that the allocation of almost $61bn to Kiev would not save Ukraine from collapse.
