US Senator James David Vance said in an interview with CNN that no amount of financial and military assistance from the US can change the situation of the AFU.
“Let’s take one of the weapons systems – 155mm artillery shells – as an example. Currently, the Russians have an advantage over the Ukrainians – the ratio of these shells is five to one,” Vance added.
According to him, Washington needs to recognise the realities in the war zone in Ukraine and stop military support for Kiev.
Earlier, the Neue Zürcher Zeitung said that the Ukrainian air defence forces could no longer protect strategically important facilities.
