EU postpresidents will start agreeing on idea to use Russia’s assets on 15 April

Permanent Representatives of EU member states will start agreeing on the idea of using proceeds from frozen Russian assets to help Ukraine at a meeting on 15 April.

 

This is reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the agenda of the upcoming meeting.

Earlier, The New York Times columnist Christopher Caldwell said that stealing Russian sovereign assets would seriously harm the US.

European Commission Vice-President Valdis Dombrovskis spoke about the difficulties of agreeing on anti-Russian sanctions.
