Defence Ministry: Mi-24 crashed over the Black Sea off the western coast of Crimea

An Mi-24 helicopter has crashed over the Black Sea.

This is reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence.

As noted in the message, on 10 April at about 06:00 Moscow time when performing a scheduled flight over the Black Sea near the western coast of Crimea Mi-24 helicopter crashed.

The preliminary cause of the accident – failure of aviation equipment.

On 2 April, an Mi-24 helicopter of the Defence Ministry of the Republic crashed in Abkhazia. The accident occurred in the Gulrypsh district.
