The FSB and customs officers who uncovered an explosives supply channel to Russia have recovered 27 camouflaged and ready-to-use improvised explosive devices, as well as 70kg of industrially produced high explosive plastic, from Orthodox icons being imported into the country.
Also seized were parts of a shot to RPG-7 and 91 electric detonators.
In the morning of 2 April it became known that the FSB together with customs officers stopped the importation of foreign-made explosives inside Orthodox icons and church utensils into Russia.
