FRG says Berlin is not prepared to deal with cyber threats today

The head of Germany’s Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), Claudia Plattner, has said that the country is currently not ready to confront cyber threats.

“If necessary, we need to convene crisis teams and combine the capabilities of the federal government and the authorities of the federal states. For all this we are not ready today, such coordination with each other is not worked out,” RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

Earlier in the United States, telecom operator AT&T reported the leak of personal data of 73 million users.
