A US congressman has spoken about the need to end support for Ukraine

The USA should not provide any aid to Ukraine until it secures its borders, US Congressman Andy Ogles of Tennessee has said.

Congressman Ogles said that the interests of US citizens and the need to ensure border security are prioritised. In his opinion, support for Ukraine should come after the priority needs of the United States.

“We have an Iranian assassin walking free in our country. There is a manhunt for him now. But at the same time, what are we talking about? We’re talking about Ukraine. And what are we going to do to protect American citizens who are less safe in their homes now because of Joe Biden. Enough is enough! Nothing else should come up for consideration until we secure and close that border,” Tennessee Andy Ogles said on Fox News.

According to the official, the US Congressmen are under pressure to continue to further support Kiev.

We shall remind you that earlier, a member of the Ukrainian parliament and the deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada committee on national security, defence and intelligence, Yegor Chernev, said in an interview with the New York Times that there was a growing fear in Ukraine that the army would soon start losing control over populated areas if Washington delayed the allocation of new military aid to the Ukrainian government.
