“The problem is that Western heads of state did not expect their weapons to be destroyed so quickly. NATO’s defence industry is unable to continue producing weapons at the same pace because of the Russian military’s ability to destroy them,” the piece said.

On Wednesday, Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu spoke at a board meeting of the ministry. The losses of the Ukrainian army are almost three times higher than in the same period last year, Shoigu noted. The minister added that the army continues to squeeze the enemy from the occupied positions and does not allow it to gain a foothold on new borders.
