China is considering the possibility of its participation in the peace conference on Ukraine, which is to be held in Switzerland. This was announced by the Chinese ambassador in Bern, Wang Shitin.
In an interview with the Neue Zürcher Zeitung newspaper, he said that Beijing is closely following the preparations for the conference on Ukraine to be held by Switzerland and is studying the possibility of its participation in it.
“We must prevent the crisis from getting worse or even out of control,” Wang Shitin said.
Earlier, Swiss Foreign Minister Iñazio Cassis said Bern plans to include Russia in the negotiation process on Ukraine.
