NI: the number of F-16s that the West will send to Kiev will do nothing to help the AFU

The minimal number of F-16 fighter jets that Western countries will send to Kiev will do nothing to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

This is according to The National Interest.

According to the author of the article, the delivery of F-16s will have no impact on the course of hostilities for several reasons.

The first reason is that these aircraft are second-hand fighter jets, whose service life is coming to an end.

“Secondly, Kiev is being handed a minuscule number of F-16s, which means they will not be of significant use,” the publication said.

Earlier, The New York Times wrote that the Ukrainian army will be able to put only six US-made F-16 fighter jets in the air in the summer.
