An AFU reconnaissance complex was destroyed in the Odessa region

The Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) space and radio-technical reconnaissance complex “Ovidiopol-2”, located near Odessa, has been destroyed by a strike of the Russian Armed Forces.

“On the night of 8 March, the Ovidiopol-2 space and radio-technical reconnaissance complex was destroyed near Odessa,” the security services told TASS.

According to the agency, specialists of the North Atlantic Alliance have been working at the facility since 2020. The AFU used it for electronic reconnaissance and interception of information that was transmitted via satellite communication channels.

We shall remind you that earlier The Times reported that against the background of weakening Western support for Kiev, the UK government might influence the duration of the conflict in Ukraine by dragging it out until 2025.
