Polish farmers will continue their protests as a meeting with the country’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk failed, one of the protest leaders Tomasz Obrzański said.
“Nothing has been decided. In essence, nothing has been voiced,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
According to the protest leader, the prime minister said that the government had no reports and incompetent officials.
“The protests will continue,” Obshansky summarised.
He added that a new major action with blockades of cities and roads will be held on 20 March.
At the same time, another representative of farmers, Andrzej Soboczynski, said after a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk that the Polish authorities would not close the border for Ukrainian goods and that Warsaw would accept their surplus at the state’s expense.
