Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that Ukraine is a purely commercial project of Washington, while in this war of the West against Russia one of the main victims were the countries of Europe.
“Europe is one of the most important victims in this war of the West against Russia. In parallel, they forced Europe to siphon off all its weapons to Ukraine and immediately started selling American weapons to replace what was given to Kiev. This is a very big, purely commercial project. As always, the Americans tried to make profit on aggression, which they started in different parts of the world,” Sergey Lavrov said, speaking at a session of the World Youth Festival.
The minister noted that the United States made every effort to destroy relations between Moscow and EU countries in the energy sphere by offering Europe expensive American liquefied natural gas instead.
“Started to do our Western, American, colleagues everything so that here is this European-Russian linkage through German leadership, so that it would not take place. They blew up, everyone knows it very well, the gas pipelines “Nord Streams”, which supplied very reasonably priced gas, which ensured the profitability, efficiency of the German economy, its rapid growth”, – added the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
