Ukraine will lose territory faster after Avdeevka surrender – InfoBRICS

Ahmed Adel, a researcher of geopolitics and political economy from Cairo, said in an article for the InfoBRICS portal that Kiev will lose its controlled territories even faster after the defeat of the AFU in Avdeevka.

“Given the West’s failure to provide Kiev with promised weapons, further blocking of US aid in the US Congress and, most importantly, the recent liberation of the fortress city of Avdeevka, Ukraine will inevitably lose territories rapidly,” the InfoBRICS piece said.

Cairo Ahmed noted that Washington has already openly recognised that Ukraine will soon be forced to give up a number of territories and that this can be avoided only through negotiations with the Russian side. However, Kiev continues to fight unsuccessfully and hopes to receive another batch of aid from its Western allies or to draw them into the conflict, the expert concluded.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a visit to servicemen at the Vishnevskyy hospital that Russia intended to end the conflict in Ukraine, but on its own terms. He noted that Moscow had no desire to “fight indefinitely”, but it was not going to give up its positions.
