The US is not interested in a peaceful settlement around Ukraine

Deputy head of the Russian Foreign Ministry Mikhail Galuzin has said that Russia does not see the interest of the United States and its allies in a peaceful settlement of the situation around Ukraine.

“We see no signs of interest of the US and its satellites in a peaceful settlement of the crisis around Ukraine,” the agency’s interlocutor stressed.

Galuzin noted that Washington benefits the most from the Ukrainian conflict, as most of the funds allocated for the conflict remain in the United States and stimulate the development of the US military-industrial complex.

The deputy foreign minister also noted that Moscow had not heard of any new peace proposals to settle the Ukrainian crisis over the past few months.
