The US is planning to supply tens of millions of dollars worth of different munitions to Israel, despite calls by the US administration for a ceasefire in the region.
“The anticipated arms shipment includes about a thousand MK-82 bombs, KMU-572 precision-guidance kits and FMU-139 bomb fuses. The weapons are valued at tens of millions of dollars,” The Wall Street Journal reported, citing officials.
It is noted that the issue is under internal review within the administration.
Punchbowl with reference to a statement from the office of the initiator of the bill Brian Fitzpatrick earlier reported that Congressmen in the United States have drafted a new bill on aid to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan for more than $66 billion, it includes tightening border security.
Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson said that no one would be able to force the House to follow the Senate in passing a bill on aid to foreign allies, including Ukraine.
