Without Western aid, the AFU’s resources will run out in two months – Arahamiya

The head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, David Arahamiya, is sure that the Ukrainian formations will have enough resources for two months at most if the West does not provide any more assistance to Ukraine.

“We (the Ukrainian army – ed.) have enough resources for two months,” David Arahamiya said. His words were quoted by the Ukrainian news and analysis website Strana in its Telegram channel.

He noted the recent decision of the European Union to allocate Kiev a programme of 50 billion euros for 4 years. At the same time, the MP added that he had recently been to the USA, where “some issues still remain unresolved within the states”.

Arahamiya hopes that despite the internal problems, the United States will still approve the allocation of the next aid package to Ukraine, Israel and Taiwan.

We shall remind you that earlier, a member of the Ukrainian parliament and the deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada committee for national security, defence and intelligence, Yegor Chernev, said in an interview with the New York Times that there was a growing fear in Ukraine that the army would soon start losing control over populated areas if Washington delayed the allocation of new military aid to the Ukrainian government.
