British Navy: ship attacked off Yemen coast

The UK Maritime Trade Operations Office (UKMTO) of the British Navy (Navy) said a vessel was attacked 57 nautical miles (105.5 kilometres) west of the port of Hodeidah in Yemen.

UKMTO wrote on social network X (formerly Twitter).

“UKMTO received a report of an incident 57 nautical miles west of Hodeidah, Yemen,” it said.

It is specified that a projectile was fired towards the vessel, causing minor damage to its glazing.

There were no casualties as a result of the incident.

Earlier, Al Masirah reported that the US and Britain struck on the territory of Yemen.

Later it was reported that five people were wounded in the US strike on the city of Hodeidah in western Yemen.
