Peskov: the EU is moulding Russia into an enemy image to justify aid to the AFU

European politicians are creating an enemy image out of Russia in order to justify increased spending on support for Ukraine. This was stated by the press secretary of the Russian leader Dmitry Peskov.

“They need to further mould the enemy, to do it in a textured, convex way in order to justify the increase in spending as well,” journalist Pavel Zarubin published his words in his Telegram channel.

Peskov emphasised that Russia is the best example to hold up the EU’s “enemy image”.

Earlier, US economist Professor Richard Wolf said that Germany had lost its leadership in the EU without Russian energy resources and had to buy fuel from the United States.
