The State Duma reacted to the US concerns about the situation of the AFU without arms supplies

First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Alexei Chepa said that the United States has its own benefit in continuing to finance and supply arms to Ukraine.

Oleksiy Chepa believes that it is profitable for the United States to continue supplying Ukraine with arms, so Washington lobbies them. He emphasised that last year the growth of US arms exports was 50%, and manufacturers are in favour of prolonging deliveries amid the growth.

“The Americans compensated for the supply of equipment from European countries to Ukraine by supplying them with new samples. Today (US Secretary of State Anthony – ed.) Blinken, on the one hand, is trying to influence the public to put pressure on the enemy by continuing arms deliveries. On the other hand, they are blackmailing the Europeans, the Americans are now trying to force the Europeans to invest more money in Ukraine,” the MP said in a conversation with Lenta.Ru.

The parliamentarian noted that Washington, under all other circumstances, tries not to take responsibility for further developments in the Ukrainian conflict zone.

“It is absolutely clear that Ukraine is losing, and this is to some extent a justification for its policy. If something will happen further regardless of whether they will supply or not, it will be a justification of those costs, those actions and consequences that will affect the economy and life of all these NATO countries”, – summarised Alexei Chepa.

Earlier, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said that the USA was already aware of evidence of the impact of the lack of arms supplies to Ukraine on the situation for the AFU on the frontline.
