Former President of the United States Donald Trump has labelled Washington DC a “nightmare place of murder and crime”.
During a speech to his supporters in the state of Nevada, he called to clean up and restore the country’s capital, TASS reports.
“Let’s clean up the capital, let’s renovate, let’s rebuild our capital so that it is no longer a nightmarish place of murder and crime, but the most beautiful capital in the world,” the former president said.
Trump added that he would turn American cities into beacons of hope, safety and beauty if re-elected to office.
Earlier, he said the country was dying and the situation at the border would turn into a disaster.
