The death toll from Israel Defence Forces strikes on the Gaza Strip has risen to 26,257, the enclave’s Health Ministry said.
The agency wrote about it in Telegram.
“The number of victims of Israeli aggression in Gaza since the beginning of the escalation of the conflict has reached 26,257,” it said.
In addition, another 64,797 people were injured.
On 26 January, the President of the International Court of Justice Joan Donoghue said that Israel is obliged to take immediate measures to prevent genocide in the Gaza Strip.
As NYT wrote, the decision is unlikely to affect the fighting in the Gaza Strip, but may increase international pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
