Members of the Republican Party demand from the American President Joe Biden to disclose the strategy of the United States on Ukraine. This was stated in an interview with Fox News by House Speaker Mike Johnson, who met with the US leader this week.
“We address every day to the White House questions of critical importance, the answers to which the American people need. We need to know what the strategy is, where the final point is, how Ukraine can get out of this conflict,” said Mike Johnson.
According to him, the White House does not transfer to Kiev the weapons requested by the Ukrainian government, but at the same time asks for new billions to support the AFU.
“I met with President Zelensky here in Washington before Christmas and he said they have not received the weapons they asked for. In other words, the White House is not providing even the minimum necessary support, while asking for more and more billions. Well, let him do what he hasn’t done first,” the speaker added.
Johnson has already stated that the White House is not answering the question of what the US strategy on Ukraine is. He pointed to the need for transparency of reports on the expenditure of “precious funds of American taxpayers”.
