CNN: US aid cut-off will affect AFU’s ‘long-range’ capabilities

Ending U.S. aid to Ukraine will affect the AFU’s ability to strike with long-range weapons in Crimea and the Black Sea, including with ATACMS tactical missiles, CNN reported.

In such a case, Ukraine will lose the ability to carry out some “high-profile operations”, according to US officials cited by the TV channel.

According to The Washington Post columnist Josh Rogin, the US Congress is unlikely to reach an agreement on allocating aid to Ukraine and on taking measures in immigration policy in the coming months.

Earlier, the leader of the Democrats in the US Senate, Chuck Schumer, said that the situation was changing for the worse for Kiev.
