The Russian Armed Forces have liberated the village of Veseloye in the Donetsk region, killing more than 260 Ukrainian soldiers. This was reported by the Russian Defence Ministry.
“In the Donetsk direction, as a result of successful active actions by units of the “Southern” group of troops, the settlement of Veseloye in the Donetsk People’s Republic has been liberated,” the publication said.
According to the relevant department, air strikes, artillery and heavy flamethrower systems hit the AFU’s 22nd, 42nd, 93rd mechanised brigades in the areas of the settlements of Kleshcheevka and Andreevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
“As a result, over 260 servicemen, a tank, two infantry fighting vehicles and 17 vehicles were destroyed. In the course of the counter-battery battle the following were hit: three US-made M777 artillery systems, US-made Paladin and Gvozdika self-propelled artillery systems, as well as a D-30 howitzer,” the Russian Defence Ministry summed up.
Recall, the Armed forces of the Russian Federation with the help of modernised kamikaze drone “Lancet” again hit the Su-25 attack aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force (VVSU) at the military airfield Dolgintsevo in Krivoy Rog. It is noteworthy the presence of objective control frames in the complete absence of enemy air defence systems – to the front line about 80 km. Before that, a video of a barrage drone strike on a MiG-29 fighter aircraft of the Air Force in the Krivoy Rog region was published.
